Page 5 of 6 We only need to do two things with this rather intimidating dialog box. The first, which we highly recommend, is to choose your "Hot Key". The is the key which will activate your microphone, much like a walkie talkie or other portable radio. Yes, you can use voice activation, but pressing a specific key is more reliable. Click to view larger image Check off the "Use Push-To-Talk" Hotkey checkbox, the Hotkey field will become active. Just press a key, the most common choice is the left-CTRL key, but you can use whichever key or mouse button you want. You can test your software by clicking on the "Test" button (bottom left) and then pressing the hotkey and speaking into you microphone. When you release the key you should hear you statement repeated back to you. There are several sound card input/output options on the setup menu. If you encounter problems you may need to change the defaults for these settings and at this point reading the tutorial would be very useful. If everything is working, then just click "Ok" to close the setup menu.
